Baby time!

I was at the temple when the secretary came back to the study and announced, "Baby time!" So I took off for Florida (quite warm here) to be with the boys. Levi Adam came at 1 am.

I've been here playing with the boys and keeping things going.

Yesterday we took them to see their new brother. (I'll let the parents post pics of the baby.)

Isaac pointed and said "brother" quite clearly several times. He must be very important.

Michael had to check him out too.
Michael got to hold him. Then Isaac held him.

Then we took family pics.

And the nurse put arm bands on the big brothers. Isaac is big brother and Michael is biggest brother.

Each day I get out a special toy from the trunk of my car. That day it was legos.

Here are some of their creations.

Tender Mercies

For the last few weeks we have been running a bit faster than we have strength. In fact, we are celebrating Christmas by serving instead of decorating.
Jan 17th I start teaching again, and have realized how much of the information has left my mind since summer. Well, I stopped by the library to find an entertaining and clean book to listen to while I drive, and LOOK WHAT I FOUND ON TAPE:
My textbook!!!!!! Miracles happen...

We went somewhere!!!

So, we found this cruise online for 420. for both of us, went crazy for a week trying to get 3 weeks of Christmas prep done and took off driving all night to FL. After crashing at a rest stop, this is what we saw...
I happen to be crazy about palm trees, so the vacation started there.
We drove further south to here and spent the morning...
at the beach...

shopping for last minute items...
checking out the art deco architecture...

and finding our boat.

This was our first cruize together, so we ran around figuring out what fun things there were to do.
Leaving Miami and heading out to sea.
24 hour all you can eat food. This is the formal dining room. Yum!
We didn't get seasick cause there was no room in our digestive systems for sloshing food.
Most times we ate on the deck.
Here we are entering Key West.

Very charmng place. Gingerbread houses with lush gardens that make each house its own private place.

We walked to the end of Duval St. and back...
Took a picture at the Southernmost Point...
found Ernest Hemingway's house...
and found the perfect place for Alex to work.
Relaxing on deck was the very best part.
No driving all night. You party and relax and arrive. This is Cozumel, Mexico, and island off the Yucatan Penninsula.
The color of the water was shockingly gorgeous.
We got off the boat and took a ferry to the mainland...
to the Mayan Riviera.
Walked through the town and boarded a bus for...
the Mayan ruins of Tulum. This is our tour guide.

The temple is very interesting. I spent some time studying the legends before we got there. Some say that this is where Christ first came to America.

We found an Iguana.

In spite of all the archaeology, we both thought the beach was the most impressive!

The next day we spent having fun on the ship. It was massive!!
They had a hairy chest contest...
a real art auction, 2 shows that we saw,
jogging, mini-golf, a spa, and hot tubs.
We made friends with our dinner table seatmates too.
And hung out some with them.
And got pampered.
Then we arrived back at Miami.
And made one last port of call at Palm Beach...
Before stopping to play with grandkids... checking the progress of the new baby...
and arriving home.
