2 Busy Weeks

Last week we took the plunge and moved Grandpa to a new nursing home. No pics. He is so busy there that he won't even notice getting older. Today he played Bingo and went to an auction. Yesterday he played Bingo a ton, had PT and played Michael in tic-tac-toe. The day before he went on a bus drive, played bingo at least twice and attended a concert. (Notice the emphasis on Bingo???) We come to visit and he hardly notices us.
This may make our lives different too....
This week Aaron, Kathrine, Michael and Isaac came to visit. Here are some pics. (I always take pics of grandkids!)
We visited the Fish Hatchery in Cumming GA. Honest, we probably saw a million trout. This is a path that leads back to a pond for kids to fish in. Instead of fishing, we picked blackberries along the path. Yum!

We took Michael and Isaac to East Cobb Park - a great place for toddlers.

Here is cute little Isaac. He can't do much yet but observe, and wave his arms and legs.

While Mom and Dad went to the temple, Michael, Isaac and I hung out in the annex. In came the Macon GA missionaries. They invited Michael to eat with them.

On the way home we stopped at a garage sale. There was this cool back hoe for $3.00, so of course grandma bought it. It almost got taken to FL, until we put batteries in it. The amount of noise the thing makes is obscene!!! No wonder they sold it!!!

That's all folks!!! Now we get to clean up after.

What's been happening part 1

Two weeks ago, we made a trip to Texas to close on our new property. 87 miles of our trip there was on this lovely Natchez Trace Parkway. No traffic!!!
Jimbo and Jon fixed the front fence, then searched out the 4 corners of the property. This corner was a challenge, but Jimbo's equiptment and professional know-how was up to it.

While searching our woods, we found a variety of trees and bushes. Shown here is a real cactus - in bloom!

We cut the grass too.

Then...
Last week Isaac was blessed and we made a whirlwind trip to be there for it - after helping Jared and Reva to move to their new home.
Here is the cute boy in his blessing clothing.
This is Michael in the church nursery.
I just love Florida!!
But even more we love being Nana and Papa.

What's been happening pt. 2

On the move... Solei has learned to pull herself up to this walker. One hand!!!

Yesterday our ward had a pioneer picnic. Here is my favorite member of our ward. She is very distracting.

This week we had a large YSA Sunday School class!! Actually, we have 4 more YSA's that stay all year round that are not in this pic. Aren't they angels?

And here they are as you remember them.
