Thanksgiving...

This Thanksgiving Aaron, Kathrine and Michael came to visit. 'Papa' was in the middle of laying flooring when Michael arrived, so of course he helped. Did you know that flooring boards are just like blocks? He lined them up, knocked them close with a hammer, fetched tools, threw away trash, and swept up. Quite precocious for age 2.

Kathrine and I cooked the meal and got out the best dishes. Yum!
Jon helped Aaron put 2 new axle's and 1 new alternator on his car.
Then Aaron helped his dad finish up the floor. It's amazing...
Typical way to spend a holiday in our family!

Icing on the cake of life.

November 2nd, Sarah and Elisabeth flew to see the grandparents! This is Elisabeth, 5 1/2 months old, all wrapped up for the cold weather. Her mommy made her cute hat.

The next day during lunch, Sarah and her dad performed for the old folks home where Grandpa John lives. When Sarah sang 'Amazing Grace' and 'How Great Thou Art', everyone got really reverent. Many people thanked Sarah. She has a gift for touching hearts. Loved it!!!

This is Elisabeth with her great grandfather. Sarah is helping her to stay on his lap because she is very active and wiggly.

Double fun! Aaron and Kathrine and Michael drove up to see Sarah and Elisabeth, and the cousins each rode in their respective vehicles... Elisabeth watched everything her bigger cousin did and smiled and cooed. That made Michael want to entertain her. Worked out very nicely!

I had my arms full. Grandma heaven. What do you do if a whole lot of them come at once???

There is always Papa. He and Michael really got into an architect thing.

Papa made friends with his grand daughter too.

And of course we all went to see the birds and fish and great grandpa.

Here is our cute girl in her Sunday clothes!

Here she is at church.

We really enjoyed their visit. We love them all so much!
