Even Old People Have a Life

To prove that even old people have a life, Mom and I decided to start this blog. Problem is we really can't think of much exciting to write. OK, here is something. Tonight we went to help the Bergaust's with a pre-wedding dinner for the combined families. We helped set up tables and broke into the RS closet to get table cloths. The "caterers" were going to bring and serve the food. We would come back at 8:00 to help clean up. We were offered to stay to eat, but we did not want to intrude. Just as we were leaving the Sonny's BarBQ van showed up. WHY DID WE SAY WE DID NOT WANT TO EAT? Mom dragged me from the chruch. We went and got a real treat for dinner, Subway. Mom likes that. They had two foot long sandwiches for like $9. Went to see grandpa T. Mom was telling me her GRE vocabulary words and I tryed to guess the definitions. I think I was 0 for 10. Grandpa kept falling asleep in his weelchair. We decided to go back to the church. Well, we were warmly offered to come get a plate of Sonny's. Now we are talking. Did anyone have a better evening than finding FREE, all you can eat, Sonny's pulled pork, ribs, and smoked turkey with sides. OK, I know holding those little babies is great, but a heaping plate of sweet, smoky, savory BBQ? The bad thing was we already ate Subway. The good thing is the anticipation of BBQ for breakfast. Ummm.
